As an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, I have owned, sold, and, at times, lost businesses—giving me invaluable insights into the challenges and rewards of building successful ventures. My passion lies in sales and marketing, which I believe are the driving forces behind any thriving business.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across various sectors, including household goods transportation, freight forwarding, and global relocations. I've grown businesses to achieve multi-million-pound turnovers and started ventures that have generated millions. One notable accomplishment includes working for Santa Fe Relocation, where I successfully grew their consumer division, generating over £10 million in consumer business.
In addition to my entrepreneurial ventures, I’ve held the role of CEO, raising two rounds of investment to create a technology platform designed to streamline small moves, particularly for consumers, lump-sum budgets, interns, and corporate clients.
With experience spanning multiple sectors—including financial services, charities, startups, and marketing—I bring a versatile and practical approach to business growth. My goal is to help companies unlock their full potential through effective strategy, innovation, and execution.
With extensive experience as an entrepreneur, investor and adviser Charles brings unique and specialist support to early stage companies.
He is a founding Director of Cresco Capital, an FCA authorised corporate advisory firm based in London. Cresco advises its corporate clients predominantly in relation to strategy and fund raising.
Previous activities have included being the sole founder of CoInvestor, an investment platform which enables private investors to co-invest alongside institutional fund managers on a deal by deal basis, and acting as an advisory Board member for Seraphim Capital, a venture capital fund. He has also helped grow a venture debt business taking it through to a public listing on AIM.
Before entering the financial services sector Charles spent ten years building up a variety of early stage companies and, prior to starting his commercial career, spent six years in the British Army.
